This lake used to be a good Muskie and Northern spot. Think the secrets out- It's been drained. We used to drop in here at least once a month (always catch & release) for the last several years and have noticed increased fishing pressure and decreased in fish. Much better options in the area....too bad was a favorite.

9-8-13. Not so hidden gem right in the town of woodriff. Holds some big fish! Very clear water and clean. Probably heavily fished in its lifetime, but still fun to be had. Many fish in this lake, you just have to work at getting them in the boat.

Fished this lake today on a whim. The weather was nice till noon when a front moved in, so the bite was off.
At one time this was a popular resort lake and probably overfished. Today it seems a forgotten gem. Pulled out a 20 inch pike and a nice largemouth. Also a baby Muskie.
Saw two MONSTER Muskie trail our mepps spinners. Will probably try this lake again in late fall.
