I have fished this lake a few times over the years. i can honestly say, I have never caught a fish there. in fact, not even a nibble. even when i gave up on trying to catch bigger fish, and tried to catch anything at all. not even in the shallow areas where smaller fish should be plentiful, NOT A SINGLE BITE. now, the last time i was there, yesterday, i noticed something else odd. almost no plant life in the water. the few lily pads there were are small, like they have stunted growth. I also noticed the water is quite clear. if there were any plants beneath the surface, they would be visible. what's going on here? has the lake been sterilized? invasive species?
