Summer--look for walleye near the island. Largemouth plenty but few large ones in my experience. Nice weedy flats near shore for good sized 30+ inch northern. Crappie plentiful and good sized if you can find them. Agree poor boat access, an under fished quality lake never the less.

Shallow, weedy. Lots of stunted panfish. Good sized bass present. Walleyes are limited, but large. Tons of hammer handle northerns. Lots of bullheads after dark. Poor boat access, no parking near launch. Popular Ice fishing lake. Excellent ice fishing action. Lots of northerns make for plenty of flags.
