Above average small mouth population. Below average panfish quantity and size. The East side beach landing is really busy in the summer, use the landing by the dam or West side beach to avoid crowds. Shore fishing opportunities by both beaches and South shoreline.

Perch and Crappie fishing is decent if you can find structure. Out near the island is the best fishing. Weekend fishing can get a little rowdy.... Harry

Excellent Crappie Fishery! Jigs and a minnow work the best. When fishing for crappies we run into a lot of perch. We even catch a lot of bass and sometimes run into a Northern.Work the shores and around Structure. GOOD LUCK!
