this lake is dead. locals say nothing but carp for the last several years. extreme eutrification with a constant pungant odor over the surface water in addition to grossly discolored water. Excessive organic matter in water rumored to be inoculum for many zoonotic diseases, with several reports of fisherman catching somthing more than fish. On the bright side may be great stock source for carp, as the few if any fish surviving are definately naturaly selected to withstand haneous waters. local lake area residents are primarily of african american heritage and in my opinion apper prejudice towards lake access, my guess is their probly just embarrased.
