this lake is awsome this was my 8th time going and during the fall the muskies go shallow the best thing to use wright now is an 8 inch rapala original floter had one hit on my top water frog while fishing for bass and snapped my line

Hello fellow anlers. I just wanted to pass along some tips that I picked up from fishing this lake for four years. I have caught several northern in 15 feet of water using white fat free fry crank baits nothing with a whole lot of size about 1 and 1/2 pounds each. I have caught some 30" using strike king white and silver skirted with one willow blade and one colorado burned over the underwater foilage. This technique brought me a 40" muskie to shore but was too big for my spincast. Mostly I fished the spinner in the morning where I caughtmost fish around 10:00a.m.party cloudy and sunny when those blades really shine. For bass I kill them with zoom super flukes in almost any color. The action when fished like a slash/jerk bait is too much for them to resist.

I have come here several times and rarely do we leave without someone boating a muskie. The bass fishing is good here with a fly-rod because the water is so clear. It truly is a perfect lake. Five stars

Nice clear lake...caught a lot of largemouths but small...same thing for the panfish

Great lake and clear water. Fishing is OK. There are fish but they usually run small in size. Alot of bass. Great lake for boating and skiing.

This is an incredible lake with a lot of great fishing territory. Nice sized perch are biting well in the deep water. Also the occasional walleye. Caught a lot of bluegills too but they were small on average (probably the time of year). Caught some LM bass too. I will not fish on this lake again on July 4th weekend. There were tons of skiers and jetskis out. they were flying all over in the small bays and our small boat was not taking the waves well.

Lake was good for bass on really sunny days. Were hitting purple plastic worms. Back bays off the main lake produced lots of fish. Love how clean the lake is.

Archibald Lake is a beautiful Lake but the water is very low and every year it is lower. Does anyone remember it ever being this low? It would be a good time for the DNR to put gravel on the receeded shorelines to help spawning when the water comes back to it's natural level.

Had a lot of action on the ice. The northern ran a little small but walleyes were a great catch. I'd definitely go again. Good Fishin'

Been fishing it for 27 years. Very picturesque and relaxing. Caught many 3-5 lb. large mouth bass out of it, and saw a 7 1/2 lb. taken 15 years ago. The water is exceptional clear, even clearer than the Fox River in Green Bay, Dick. Has great bass habitat when the water level is at normal level.

This Is A Very Good Pan Fish And Walleye Lake I Have Got A Lot Of Nice Sized Walleye And Crappie

The Water Is So Dirty I Hope Nobody Comes Here To Do Any Watersports

Why Are You Impressed About Northern Thats All That Are In That Lake

First Time Ever Fishing This Lake, Was Impressed. Iced Some Nice Bass,walleye, Pike,&panfish

Its The Best Lake Ever And Its Good For Big Muskie

Better Than Average Ice Fishing,not A Lot Of Slack Time.

Haven´t Caught A Thing In Three Years Except A Few Panfish
