Archibald Lake

What's the snow and ice situation? Or did it all blow off the lake lol.

Been up on Archibald all week at cottage, there was a group of 4 people out Tuesday by the islands, I have been checking everyday there’s a good 3-4 inches, with this cool night tonight it should stiffin it up to get back out on foot. 

Bass I did not make it but I did check out one of the bigger lakes next to it. And a few others in the area. I did not go far out as it was getting dark and I was by myself. The first few feet is water but 15 yards out seemed very solid and clear ice 3 to 4 hits with the spud and I was though the ice. I'd say about 3". We are going to try in the morning maybe will see you. should gain ice over the night. Bring safety gear it's definitely first ice. 

Bass I'm going to head up that way after work to check things out. I'm guessing ice is bad ill post what I find. But if it's like anything else it's not good.

How is the ice anyone able to get out by the islands yet? 

Glad to see people posting about this gem of a lake. Thanks to the lower post. 

Mostly 3 inches of ice straight out from landing, but a couple of spots were just 2-3 hits and through with the spud bar. Not the best ice, but fishable. Make sure you have your ice picks and spud bar.
