Lake is being drawn down to do repairs. Also had a large fish kill over the summer due to high heat, saw a lot of dead pike.

Just saw my review from a few years ago and saw a typo! 100 perch, not 1000! Anyways, Buffalo has always had good fishing, though I think it's died down a bit in recent years. Still a great place to go fishing, has a bit of everything. Perch, Largemouth, Northern, Catfish, and more. A few years ago I caught a bowfin, which I know is a rough fish but was still something cool to catch, it being a prehistoric fish and all. Lots of weeds in Buffalo, but fishing the cut-outs proves to be good. Great docking area, and it's worth donating a few dollars when you go for the upkeep.

We usually fish by Pacwaukee with no boat and its on and off fishing. If you go under the bridge or by it you might catch some nice crappies or bass. If you go on the other side you might catch some small and big bluegill. Catfish are present and bullheads.
