Lake Noquebay

Does anyone have a ice report for Lake Noquebay?

Stopped by the county park today, not a car in the lot and I did not see anyone anywhere on the lake. Ice didn't have water on top and I could see where someone drilled a hole about 100 yards off the landing. From where I was standing the north side of the lake looked open? Can someone verify that? Thanks.

Is there an issue with slush, and or water on top of the ice ?

Went out yesterday in front of timberline, Had a few flags all little northern and one bass. No panfish. Ice was looking good. Except for the big boom that scared everyone on the lake! There was a crack that opened up in front of timberline with water coming up, seemed to be freezing up when we left at dark. only seen one permanent shack out 

Was out this past weekend and stayed on the ice friday-sunday.  8" of ice. No vehicles other than quads and UTV. Caught a few pike in the 8' depth range. 

I stopped by the county park on the south side yesterday. There wasn't anyone on the ice. I didn't have a spud bar so didn't walk out on the ice. I'm not sure but the ice looks to be layered. Ice,water,than more ice. There were no signs of anyone walking out. Parking lot was all plowed, I'm sure this weekend people will be fishing.

Fished 8AM -1PM 6 keeper LMB cookie cutter 2.5 lbs; 1 Northern. 3 bass caught on top water Zara spook; 2 on dropshot half shell; 1 fluke.  Northern on Rapala countdown.  Dead calm.
