i am pretty sure you cannot legally get into this lake as the creek that crosses newton lake road is not a navigable water way they also have small dams that block entrance to the lake. The state record rainbow, is a hush hush thing for the club operators, i wish it would go under review from who ever keeps those records because the club possess the second oldest fisheries management license and runs an off property rearing station for the trout they stock into a small sub section of the lake dam controlled that holds the trout separate of the main lake. The fish are still in a farm environment . in the event it is legal to enter you would need a float tube and be prepared to cut some tough country while staying in the stream. believe me if i could fish it i would also. .
