This is a pretty neat lake but you need to know where to fish. The North side of the lake is LOADED with underwater timbers and structure that could potentially yield some large fish. There are so many logs that my little "bass-turd" pond skipper kept hitting them. There is also a great big shelf that goes from 3ft to 13 foot within a matter of a couple feet, if you have a finder you can't miss it. I am assuming that is where the small mouth and walleye will be found. I found the south west side of the lake to be useless and a waste of time, very mucky and shallow. That being said, I did happen to find the right spot and within a 3 hour window caught over 15 bass (both small and large mouth), the smallest being 16" and the largest being a 21" beast... Boat landing is very clean and easy to access and water is moderately clear. It is worth fishing once.

Can be a great lake, granted right place at the right time. A guy can catch his dinner relatively easily if he has some knowledge of the location of depth and cribs.
