There are a lot of lakes and streams in the wi river watershed north of Dubay. Between the ice melt and spring rains, water levels should be just fine. And if not, they will close the gates at point & dubay dams and draw from the B.EP… Filler reservoir… that’s the one I’d be worried about. I’m actually hoping for, and looking forward to a mild spring without a raging river past flood stage lol.

I've seen it down more than 8' in years past. I'm wondering how it's going to refill with no runoff from no snow this year...? I think a lot of the reservoirs and flowages that are dam controlled are going to be low this year unless we get an extremely wet spring with a lot of rain. I'm surprised they've dropped them so much with the small snowfall totals this winter.
Lake Du Bay gets drawn down each winter 5-6 feet for the spring run off from snow and ice melt, and spring rains. It's starts January 1 to around early April. They will start to refill. when the ice is out up North. CWPCO controls the DuBay Steven's Point, Whiting Biron and Wis. Rapids ,dams.and water flows .
