Great lake for boating due to the size, but we didn't have a good experience fishing. From the dock, there was so much vegetation that we had to clean off our line and lure every time we cast out. We saw tiny panfish under the dock, but they were too small to be worth catching. On a later date, we took an inflatable boat out on the water to find better fishing away from all the vegetation, which turned out to be the middle of the lake. After four hours fishing with different lures, we didn't catch anything. Heading back to the boat landing, we decided to cast out a few times near the vegetation. No fish, just more cleaning vegetation off our lines and lures.

Very good lake for Largemouth and panfish. On Opening day my cousin and I caught 9 bass - 14 inches and bigger. I've also caught a 16 inch Crappie and multiple 10 inch Bluegills.

This lake is great during the bass spawn. Lots of big bass on weedless frogs and plastic worms. but if you fish with a bobber your only going to catch little 8'' bass. the bluegills are not as common as in other lakes in the area but i have caught some big 8-10'' gills on a slip bobber and leach. large algae bloom in the summer. northern are in here but i don't fish for them in this lake.
