The over harvest limits the lake. But it has allot of water and having the Tomahawk & Somo rivers dump into it makes it an overall good fishery.

I live on this lake and years ago it had lots of fish. I mean it was darn good and I'd primarily release everything I caught accept for some meals and just kept what we were going to eat. But honestly they over fished this lake out unfortunately to a point it became the dead sea. It will always give a few fish out but with people thinking they are on an endless ocean that can take home limits everyday and nothing is going to happen need to rethink their approach. Please help for the future and quit the over harvesting and thank you to all the great anglers out there that care ?

Fished late in fall 2014, decent walleye up river and a few musky on suckers. Not speaking for all but some boaters are very disrespectful, will wake right by your boat, 15-20 yards away making it impossible to fish. Huge body of water, do your research before fishing this lake.
