Lake Alice

Has anyone has been out recently and have ice conditions? We have open water where I live, but I've heard guys are still ice fishing up north.

Hey Fin,
I measured 11" of ice the other day. Neighbors reporting about the same and good crappie action. They cancelled the fishing derby this weekend due to very late ice this year. With the warm temps this week the lake has been making the loudest cracking noises we've ever heard so watch for heaves and good luck!

Bottoms UP Bar and Eatery on Hwy A  just west of the river sells bait.

Are there any live bait shops on/near Lake Alice?  I am aware of Chucks and Aquatic Arts.

Slop bobber, Lake Alice only fluctuates inches daily unless they are working/doing maintenance at the dam.  It is not a drawdown reservoir.
