grew up fishing this lake and have fished it since the 1960's.... mostly small pan fish some nice bass and lots of smaller pike... pike fishing is hot in the winter time... lots of fun for small kids for pan fish....as kids we fished the small pool below the dam, always produced a mixed bag from carp to pike and lots of pan fish

Due to the access and weeds this lake will deture a lot of people. There is a good pan fish fishery but kind of on the small size. A great place to take kids because you can catch fish all over the lake. The game fish population is low but has some quality fish. I try to encourage catch and release on the game fish here to continue a good fishery.

Very VERY weedy. Lake was packed and people were still trying to waterski on this small lake. Even when we weren't getting thrown around in the wake, we still barely caught anything. Drive on to a larger lake in my opinion. Oh an I agree the boat launch is HORRIBLE.
