Mud is a good ice fishing lake when it turns on. It holds some trophy size pike, although not many, as well as many nice-sized panfish. There are also some decent bass, and occasionally, a trophy walleye. ml

Average lake, sucks really bad in the summer. Ice fishing has been slow and all the fish are running small. Not one of the better lakes in the area.

This is an excellent little lake for first ice pike. It tops out around 20 feet in depth, not 3 feet. An impressive panfishery also is present. Check the reed beds in spring for the incoming crappie. The lake also has a fair bass population. Gar and dogfish roam the shallows, so heads up to those using minnnows.
