My favorite body of water
This place has awesome scenery, real camping on the islands and good fishing for walleye, perch and sm bass. Eagles, loons, ducks, turns and deer to view. Go slow in your boat if you aren't familiar with the flowage, as there are stumps just below the waters surface in many areas.

We have a cabin in the flowage for the past 20 years. The Jewel of the north as far as were concerned. Fishing has its ups and downs but the scenery tops it all. Ice by pink rock slightly thinner 8?, ice by Piney island thicker 10-12?. Certain areas are slushy and that is all over. Just a reminder pick up your garbage off ice. It helps. Snowmobile users pick up your busted belts and other scrap if you blow a belt. A little effort goes a long way

Favorite lake in Wisconsin, hands down. Fishing is easy, you don't need any electronics or anything special do get on fish. Just fish an island where the wind is blowing in, and jig or throw your favorite rapalas. If you're jigging you can pull up anything. If its your first time on the lake go SLOW, watch out for logs, stumps, and rocks. Don't be the one who ruins their motor, and needs a tow back to the landing. Also when its windy out don't think this lake won't get rough, you'll be mistaken greatly.
