There?s plenty of small gills, but if you stay persistent. You can find some better gills and crappies. Just gotta put your time in for pike. Not a ton of them, but there some big ones, might run into a surprise walleye too.

i always heard that there were monster northerns in this slough, its the most "fishiest" looking body of water i've ever come across plenty of deep water and shoreline cover( lily pads and cattails) and i have yet to catch a bass or northern out of here. occasional crappie or bluegill and see plenty of carp cruising around, would love to see the dnr shock this place just to see what is really lurking under the surface. I usually fish this lake about once a year just to see if i can at least get something to hit my bait, so far i've struck out.
