Great area to sit back in a lawn chair and fish. Pretty poor after the dam broke. Hoping they fix it soon! Hard to launch boats and top side is almost impossible even in a canoe. Too much muck on top and the leaches are scary up there!

The marsh is great!!! I have fished the marsh for about 5 years now, and I almost have never walked away skunked. If you stay near the dam, there is great gill and catfishing. If you go up a ways you can tie into all sorts of different fish. Anything from Northerns to Dogfish. I have used many different methods of fishing on Grand River Marsh and have never been disapointed!! That is why I give the Grand River system a 5 star rating!! If you want to catch fish, check it out!!
