BIG smallmouth during spawn.
The smallmouth spawn is incredible for sightfishing beds and catching them suspended on rock lines after the spawn. The north end from side to side is incredible. Perch are small and finicky, and the walleye fishing is not good. Right now there are large schools of suckers as well. It seems like the invasive bullhead population is going down but I haven?t been on the water as much.(There is really no reason to fish except for the smallie spawn.) Reviewed Aug 18, 2023
