Scenic, quiet lake deep in the national forest. Surrounded by mature trees. Has national forest run campground on northeast shore. Water is clean and moderately clear. Sand beach and swimming area with good depth as you go out farther. No traditional boat launch so carry-ins only. No gas motors allowed. Serviced by well maintained national park roads.

Some nice big large mouth bass and some small gills. All the gills we caught were loaded with parasites so we threw them all back. Motorless lake with no boat launch so be prepared to portage your boat. Overall it's a fun bass lake. Top water works great too!
