Great summer fishing in the early hours if you know where to go, great early bass fishing. The only problem is that right when the lake opens up the boat traffic is insane. Ice fishing is okay if you are familiar with the lake.

ive been fishing on this lake for 20 years. About 4 summers ago i caught a nice 22 inch 6 pound bass on a nightcrawler and bobber, however went ice fishing 3 times this winter and not one bite . I remeber when i use to have 20 flags in a day and catch 4-10 northerns evertime. Not one bite in 3 attempts what the heck happend to this lake?

I've been fishing Long Lake for 20yrs. In those years, largemouths have been mostly the target. Every year we seem to produce atleast one 20incher. Awesome for perch or gills, even a few pike. Just wish i would see more wallys.
