Lake Winnebago is located in east-central Wisconsin, and it is the largest lake within the state. It covers over 131,939 acres and has a maximum depth of 21 feet.

The lake is known for its excellent fishing opportunities, particularly for walleye, perch, and white bass. It has several public boat launches and fishing piers, as well as several marinas and boat rental facilities.

Lake Winnebago is a popular destination for boating, water skiing, and other water sports, and it has several beaches and parks located along its shores.

This is my first winter fishing Bago. Seems to me bait/lure is as important as location. Plus the schools don?t hand around long. I got 4 out of one school but usually only 1-2. Sometimes they were just lookers
