Whitefish Bay, WI
4 star rating
Florence County?s largest lake which has good depth, diverse bathymetry and vegetation, and large stretches of uninhabited shoreline. The water has good clarity, considering it?s a flowage (I?d say anywhere from 4 to 7 feet of visibility, depending upon conditions). I?ve caught northern, musky, walleye, LMB and SMB here, with northern being consistent species. This lake has a fair amount of recreational boating (and is used by a waterski club) but not an egregious amount and the best fishing areas are a good distance from the channels.

A very consistent area. Filled with vegetation, perfect for bass and monster pike. Walleye are also quite common. Muskie are present but harder to come by.
