Nice quiet and scenic lake as part of a “wild river” - no houses on it. Access is difficult. The road to the north launch is a well maintained gravel road, but the launch is little more than a beach and is very shallow. Couldn’t get my boat off the trailer without taking most of the truck in the water. The south end launch is much deeper, but is accessed by circuitous narrow low maintenance roads that are prone to significant damage from rainstorms. Fun mountain bike ride. A couple of campsites at each launch are nice. Great in fall for colors.

Beautiful, quiet place to fish, but a bit too far to drive for undersized walleye and hammerhandle pike.
