A few years ago, someone created and posted this map which was very helpful to me as I learned the lake.

Buoys are in as well, but always be careful as some logs/stumps seemed to be pretty close to the markers.

Lake Wisconsin is an interesting lake to fish.  With Monday's weather being so nice,  I wasn't going to squander the opportunity.
I was after walleye but they were being secretive to me.  After 3 hours of fishing hard I bagged a nice 16 inch sauger.  I released the sauger and kept fishing.  20 minutes later a second sauger popped my hair jig.  This one was 18.5 inches.  I decided to keep this one for dinner.  20 minutes later another pop on my hair jig.  I hooked up and I thought I had another big sauger.  My mistake, 15 minutes later after a very strong fight up rose a huge catfish.  I was able to net it and drag it over the side.  My guess for weight was easily over 30 lbs.  The gentleman in the boat next to me guessed 40 lbs.
Either way. a great fight, a couple of pics and back to the deep.

Buoy markers are out but always be careful running this lake. Some of the timber moves a bit each year plus new stuff floats down periodically. Water lever can expose or hide it just under the surface. Sand bars change annually also.

Smallie- I mostly stick to the upriver side of the lake, so can’t speak much for below the trestle, but up around the islands off sticky bay it can get shallow quick. Not sure if the channel markers are out yet, but of course that’s your safest bet for traversing. Other than that just keep your eyes peeled for deadheads. I usually mark em all with waypoints when I’m underway so that I can be slightly more relaxed running in low light/night.

According to GMaps, there is a way there via County V which ends up throwing you out on Old Sauk Rd.  Does that sound viable?  Another question, is there any areas that I should be wary of running on plane out there?  I've always heard that there are stump fields etc.  Can I trust my lake master chip?

@Smallie92, depending on your direction to Okee, you may be affected by road construction....as I think 113 is closed from J north of Lodi all the way through Okee????  But don't quote me on that.

@Smalliehunter  Okee launch is a good ramp ,  go straight out as it could be shallow to the right and left for the 1st 60 feet or so.  Trim up and take it slow

Never fished/boated on LW before.  Looking to explore it here soon.  I see a lot of folks talk about Whalen Grade boat launch.  Anyone able to give much feedback on O'Kee boat launch? Might be where I go, depending on what folks say.
