Went to Sherwood today(MARCH 20, 2014)to do a little ice fishing. Imagine my surprise when I got there only to find out that the DNR drained the lake because of a supposed problem with the dam! There are no fish left in the lake. Don't waste your time!!

Fishing here is pretty tough because of all of the weeds but..
There are some pretty darn big Largemouth Bass in here (IF..you can find them). Also the Northern Pike can be pretty decent too.
Panfish pretty abundunt and occasionally I've run into a school of Crappies.
Great lake to take the kids.

As small as this "lake" is, it contains very large panfish right now, thanks to mild winters. I've caught decent Largemouth, and there are a few "Big" fish present, if you can catch em. Very weedy right now, and getting worse every summer. However, this is lake is a big Bluegill factory.
