Holcombe Flowage is a large reservoir located in north-central Wisconsin, in the counties of Chippewa and Rusk. It is created by the Holcombe Dam on the Chippewa River and has a surface area of approximately 2,881 acres, with 120 miles of shoreline an a maxium depth of 62 feet.

Holcombe Flowage is a popular recreational spot, offering a wide range of outdoor activities such as boating, fishing, swimming, water skiing, and jet skiing. The lake is known for its excellent fishing opportunities, with a variety of fish species, including walleye, northern pike, muskellunge, bass, and panfish. There are several boat launches and fishing piers around the lake, as well as several fish cribs and brush piles that have been placed to improve fish habitat.

My parents recently purchased a home on the lake. For the last two years we have been going there. It is a fun lake. Good fishing opportunities as well. We haven't been able to find a great walleye pattern. We seem to find a lot of 12" fish. Great crappie action though

lots of good sized gills. quite a few nice crappie and perch... lots of smallmouth. alot of musky. and we catch alot of walleye. this last summer i alone let go 20 fish in the slot. alot for the fishing we did for the eyes also their numbers and size are gettin better every year

Fished it all my life. Every year it seems to get better for bass and muskey. Great smallmouth anyware and good largemouth fishing if you put your time in you will find them.
