Has been an excellent lake for ice fishing panfish. Bite is usually very light...fact is if you think you have a bite..set the hook. Decent panfish but nothing large.

I stayed and fished out of Cedar Point resort in early June as well as July 04. Very nice folks and satisfactory accommodations. The fishing was better for us in June. Some 4 to 4 1/2 lb bass up shallow in the bays. Solid, strong, healthy fish, every one of them. Little Wood was a very exciting place one afternoon with about 10 bass in the 3 lb. range. Lots of pads and structure. Most fish caught on the plastic worm, various sizes and colors, Texas rigged. Several nice northern (8 to 10 lb) on bucktail, spinnerbaits and buzzin' Jeff
