Best lake I have ever fished in the summer!!! The panfish bite is pheonaminal with crappies and bluegills that are "slabs" and if you are into bass and northern caught without even trying. And when you do try hold on because you will catch some big fish!

This lake will be a one by next summer. Huge developement will wipe last of the pristine lakes. Look for ski boats and lake castles.

At the urging of a friend in Webster, I took 4 days off in early Jan to fish this lovely lake. The crappie fishing was amazing - hovering at about 30 feet - have never seen anything like it. We caught 5 huge northern, and lost one that had to push over 25 pounds. The walleye catch was actually better than we expected, nailing them at about 30 minutes after sun-down. This lake is amazing - just like being up in the boonies, huge pines and quiet, quiet, quiet... cant wait to go back in the summer. The scenery and fishing make this an A+.
