Too much boat traffic to really fish much on weekends, or throughout summer.

This clean lake offers pretty good fishing, but I agree with another reviewer that it is too small for jet or water skiing. There is one very shallow mid-lake sandbar that is marked. There are several other sand bars that extend a couple of hundred yards out from shore, so be cautious when motoring. With the clear water, you can usually see the bottom, unless of course it is dark or windy. The boat landing is pretty good, but there is a drop where the concrete pad ends under water. Locals will swim at the boat landing. There is one campground near the south end of the lake and one resort on the north end.
