Fishing this lake in the past few years has been really tough on everyone I've talked to and experienced myself. Not a lot of big bass have been caught for the past three years or so. It used to be where you could get a couple 3 pounders with very little trouble and without covering a lot of water. Please if you're reading this let all the bass go to grow bigger, the whole chain needs a lot of help with restoring the size and quantities of these fish. There have been some very big northerns and plenty of musky in the lake. Definitely give this great lake a try!
