Can catch panfish all day long, but are usually to small to keep. Does have great bass fishing and also good Northern fishing. Got 3 nice Norhterns in just one week over 30"!!!
Beautiful chain of lakes offering everything. Including great swimming, pontooning, waterskiing, fishing, sunsets and resorts. Looking forward to a great summer of small town charm and water recreation!
I camp near chetek almost every summer and I am never disappointed with the fishing or the hospitality in Chetek on the Chain. The panfishing is extraordiary
My brother in law has a pontoon boat on the chain and talk about endless days cruising the shorlines, fishing, dining at the many restaurants. This is one lake where you can do it all.
Great panfish lake w/ large Gills and Slabs. Also good Large Mouth population and Northerns. Pulled out a 36" Northern last June, and the same week another fisherman pulled out a 42". Gets pretty weedy after June and is dark green w/ low vis.
Great spring Crappie and Bluegill. North end warms early. Lots of small bass.
After June This Chain Of Lakes Is A Sewer, Wouldnt Let Kids Swim In It
Excellent Fishing For Everything Except Musky (none Stocked)
Excellant Large Mouth Lake, In All Season´s. Best When Fished On Weekdays.
Always Contains A Lot Of Nice Fish. Turns Pea Green In The Summer.
