Good crappie action , sizes vary from year to year but time it just right and you can catch you limit in 20 mins. Good bass action , walleyes have been good do to recent stocking , pike seem to do better during ice fishing

With the lake being a green color it does not help the situation.
But it is a predominate panfishing lake and it really only seems like you can catch fish using live bait
