What happened to all the weeds and lily pads. This lake was great but on the 3rd of July it felt like the dead sea. fished musky and got one hammer handle pike. Then switched to slop bass we fished the whole lake and got to bass out of what weeds we could find. Maybe a cycle? If it is it's one hell of a cycle.

Easy lake to fish for muskies. Virtually entire shoreline, esp. in western basin lined with weeds along a drop into 15+ feet of water, including some nice reed beds near the narrows. Just circle the lake at 10', one person casting into the weeds, one casting on the break line and you'll see fish.
