Fished yellow this morning from 10-2 managed 2 walleye and surprisingly a musky, all released. Water seem to have cooled down quite a bit after Saturday’s cold front so that probably through the fish off a bit. 22ft seemed best depth

Went to Jeffries landing today, there is more water than ice so it might be open by Saturday

anyone know how yellow lake or any lakes in Burnett County are doing as far as ice conditions? Will it be fishable by this weekend?

Fishing was terrible on yellow, like most days. Ice was between      7-8in ans we fished on the south end by the submerged islands. Lost a northern at the hole but other then that didn't catch anything else. Fished from 3-6:30pm

Lake looked to be mostly locked up when driving by this weekend. Could be fishable by next weekend.

Awesome. I tried going to Little Yellow during muskie opener but my boat as was just a bit too tall. I know little yellow always produce but there's no public access unless you go under the bridge from big yellow. Nice report. I'll have to try to make a trip up there.

Made the annual Father's Day trip to Yellow Lake the week of 6/17-23 with my Uncle and my 2 sons.  Weather was unsettled, but managed to get about 20 bass throughout the week, biggest 17.5".  My one son lost one that would've gone over 20.  All bass on topwater plugs.  Got 3 Muskies on spinner baits casting for pike...largest 38".  Plenty of small northern, as always.  Only walleye was caught on the last evening and was in the slot, so that was a kick in the teeth.  Most fish caught on Little Yellow or down the river.
