Fishing was terrible on yellow, like most days. Ice was between 7-8in ans we fished on the south end by the submerged islands. Lost a northern at the hole but other then that didn't catch anything else. Fished from 3-6:30pm
Awesome. I tried going to Little Yellow during muskie opener but my boat as was just a bit too tall. I know little yellow always produce but there's no public access unless you go under the bridge from big yellow. Nice report. I'll have to try to make a trip up there.

Made the annual Father's Day trip to Yellow Lake the week of 6/17-23 with my Uncle and my 2 sons. Weather was unsettled, but managed to get about 20 bass throughout the week, biggest 17.5". My one son lost one that would've gone over 20. All bass on topwater plugs. Got 3 Muskies on spinner baits casting for pike...largest 38". Plenty of small northern, as always. Only walleye was caught on the last evening and was in the slot, so that was a kick in the teeth. Most fish caught on Little Yellow or down the river.

There was a tournament held on Sunday. We found 15" of ice where we were fishing. There's ton of water on top of the ice. People drive super fast on this lake. As for the fishing report, we marked a ton of fish on every hole that we drilled; however, we just couldn't get the fish to bite. This is the first slow day on this lake for me, but i wasn't as active either because there were a lots of traffic and houses spread out on my main spots. We seen walleyes, perch and pikes pulled through the ice though. Crappies are smaller this year.
