I walked out a bit and it felt solid. I didn't do any fishing just because you kind of have to go out a ways to get to a decent depth but January 9th should be easily thick enough to drive out. This is a bigger law that tends to freeze pretty quick

Hi Snuff...

Did you get out on the ice, how was the bite. meybe headed up jan 9. warm weather is making me nervous as I have never been to the lake before

Here is a picture out of Jeffries landing, the ice looked to be very solid and probably around 2 inches. The ripples in the ice must have been from the wind when it froze. Give it a few more days and you should be able to walk out.

Anybody heard about walleyes on Yellow Lake? Going up there middle of September. Need some pointers.
