MOON PHASE (4%)
Waning Crescent

I fish the Yahara river system around Stoughton on an almost daily basis, mostly for bass.I catch on average 8-12 bass each day.All my fish are caught on Culprit 7.5 in. worms.I see people throwing all sorts of baits but plastic worms out fish most other baits 10-1.This time of year the shallower the water the better, most of my fish are caught in water less than a foot deep.My favorite spots are the dam on 4th st., The railroad trestle and the ditches.Spinner baits and rapala`s will catch fish but for some reason plastics are the hot bait.Another spot with lots of big bass is Lake Leota,Again plastic worms seem to out fish every thing else. The bass are off the beds but shallower the better is still the key until the hot weather hits, then its shade and structure.

I was fishing the high side of the damn right by the fence. I dont expect anyone to tell me there sweet spots but a clue would help lol...i live in janesville but work in madison and im always on the lookout for spots to hit up on my way home from work.

Based on the size, color, and behavior it sounds like a river otter to me...
