Wolf River (Stevensville)
MOON PHASE (84%)
Yes, the bayou, not the river. Not sure if the river is good yet with the current. Agreed, need to be careful getting down and back up to the landing, as this is not very easy for old guys like me. I didn’t want to fall and lose ice fishing season.
There is a boat landing off Hwy S on the north side of the road east of the river, but I believe the post below was referring to the bayou just west of the river. Parking lot on the south side of the road. Be aware that it is a rather steep drop to get down to the ice.

About 7-9 vehicles, so close to a dozen people. Couple crappie and blue gill, all small. Kept nothing. Only second time out, so mainly checking out equipment. Always fun being out.
MOON PHASE (19%)
26° - 30° F
Spent from bout 730 - 1000 am. Got small northern right away, then half dozen small crappies. No dinner but fun. All suspended at about 3 of 7 fow. About 10 other people fishing.
