MOON PHASE (5%)
3-18-18, we put in at Tipperary Point around seven am and started fishing the river mouth working our way upriver. At two something we caught our first fish, an 18 1/2 inch Saugeye. Caught 5 Walleyes and 1 Sauger between 12-14 1/2 inches. They quit bitting about 4 and we called it quits at 5. We started catching fish when the surface temp hit 40 degrees. Vertical jigging jigs with spray on jizz was the hot bait. We didn't see a fish caught in the morning in the river mouth area. It looked like people were trolling jigs with minnows, something new that didn't appear to work. The morning was very cold and the afternoon was beautiful.

Fished all around the 33 bridge. Water was moveing pretty fast. Tried a few drifts and nothing. Tried dead sticking with a minnow and nothing. Nice day to be on the boat. Had to use the landing off of levey road.
I fish out here alot and was wondering if anyone would like to help me out a bit. I've been thinking about going south of the 33 bridge. Does anyone know if there are any spots worth trying and how far down? Right now I only fish the bridges but getting to new spots isn't a issue for me. I'm usually hanging around the 33 bridge I'm in a camo war eagle with a surface drive. If any fellow lake linkers see me stop by and say hi.
