Very slow day fishing. Only landed 3 largemouth and 1 rockbass. I’ve never fished here before. Seems like a good lake to fish. Though I’ll never go back on a holiday. Recreational boaters had zero boating etiquette. Had boats going by us well under a 100ft going as fast as they could. Seems you own a house on this lake. Boating laws don’t apply or so them seem to think. Eager to go back on a much slower day.
Looking for a place on the lake to rent for a week in the summer of 2019. I had a great uncle who had a house on the Lagoon. He passed years ago and my family wants to go up there again. Looking for a four bedroom place if possible. Thanks in advance.
The tater gets harder to fish this time of year because of the ice depth and how shallow the lake is. I am not saying it is not worth a shot, but it is tougher. Honestly the best places to fish are probably still where the permanent shanties are. There are lots of other little lakes in the area that are good. Another bigger lake that will keep you busy with flags is Noquebay, but I know they have a couple of derbys going on this weekend.
Im heading up this weekend ice fishing with my family and we are staying at whispering pine lodge. I have never ice fished in the area and was looking for some pointers on where to start for pike and bass fishing. If anyone would be kind enough to share some information on white potato lake or other good tip up lakes in the area it would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to pm me :) thanks in advance!
