Jacob, just read back on page 2 and page 3 of this thread. There was a big discussion about what you want to know

Was working right by the pond so I threw the kayak in the truck to fish after work. The creek was high and stained. Some kids tubing down the riffles. The lake was Mississippi brown. Can't believe it wasn't slow, no wake. Some people were zippin around the perimeter of the lake. I could see chunks of shoreline breaking free and plants floating off into the lake. But if the lake assosiation doesn't care their shoreline is eroding, then neither do I.
The fishing was as tough as I'd ever seen it. Was reduced to micro finesse fishing. In 4 1/2 hrs caught 5 bass, 9,12, 13,15 and 16 inch. Most were caught shallow on rocky points. Plastic worms was all they hit
Bring wadders n a sled with high walls with swimming noodles tied to it to help float. You will get caught this year if you fail to portage creek to lake people on this lake call as soon as they see somebody. Cops sit n wait for people n hand out tresspassing tickets.
i'll save you the scorn of those who would say "read back a couple pages its all in this very thread!" by saying yes, there are a couple parking spots on the south side of 18, and you have to trudge up the river with all your gear.
