Fished from 8-4 today, pretty slow except just out past the weeds 10-15 FOW really nice panfish caught a mixed bag of crappie, perch, big sunfish kept enough to eat threw the rest back. Used slip bobbers about 3 feet down and other poles with black jighead and half a crawler. The jet skis and pleasure boats were overwhelming and had absolutly no problem running over your bobber that's how close they were getting.
Wapogasset Lake, Polk County
I lost my black sweatshirt at the sunrise beach landing this morning. If you found it please send me a message or call/text me at 715-790-6621. Thanks! normally I wouldn't CRY over a lost sweatshirt but this is my special lucky sweatshirt and it is very unique from alaska, so now a part of me is missing lol. Oh, and since this thread is for fishing reports I will report that I got skunked and the ice was still good yet a little over 2' feet of ice starting to get a little soft with the warm weather.

Used to fish Wapo years ago. I mean YEARS ago.
There was a deep spot we'd always go for crappie, and another for perch. Both in the main body of the lake, one sorta on the west side, the other on the east. Anyone still know if there's a place known more for perch?
