A friend and I would like to get away from the popular spot on the lake and explore the west/north-west shoreline. I know I've seen people out there before, but never very many. Is it worth heading over there? Please share through messenger.

Heading out to upper for the first time this year. Any suggestions for targeting perch or crappie--not looking for your spot, just any pointers on dept, colors, etc. Just to get me pointed in the right direction
PM me with thoughts. Thanks a lot guys and tight lines!

Was out last Friday. No flags. Bluegills were active but had to hole hop as each spot only produced one or two gills.
I've been out on this lake twice this year and have not had any luck finding the crappies. If anyone wants to share some suggestions, feel free to PM me.

I was out Sunday afternoon from 3-7pm, cds. I should mention that the access at the pipe by the road had gotten pretty sketchy by Sunday night. Fortunately I did not have to get on from the access spot that day. Ice was still 12 inches on the main lake sunday night.

Did a remodeling job on this lake and got permission from the people to access from their yard. For a couple hours I tried to find the perch that can be had here from time to time. My tip ups with small flatheads only pulled in bass and pike tho. Gave up on that and moved to a weedy bay that has a sure panfish bite. As usual in that spot, 90 % of the gills were dinks. In two hours there caught around 50 gills and kept a 11 1/2 inch rock bass and 4 gills 7 3/4 to 8 1/4 inches

My wife worked at Rogers for quite a few years and I noticed exactly what cds is talking about. We had one car for awhile and I would drop her off and pick her up, I definitely noticed those couple spots being taken when a lake link report would go up mentioning access. It is a decent little walk sometimes worth it sometimes not. I only fish the Nashotahs open water and usually in fall so I havent run in to trouble getting a spot, during winter parking can be tougher to come by. Quite a few lakes in Waukesha county that have limited parking, best thing I did when I moved here is buy a county map and explore, messenger definitely helps also.
