Trout Pond

Shocked that there isn't another YouTube video from fishing the trout pond at the show.  Actually, more disappointed than shocked.
But, it's harder to catch a trout there than it is a walleye in DePere.

Sitting on a sun-worn fleet farm bucket with a flask of peppermint schnapps and a full rack of Busch diesel next to this great blue sea. Can't get these darn fish to bite but I sure am enjoying this buzz! I even have the Panoptix out, just don't understand. Thought this stupid computer was going to catch em for me! Did see one ole' timer pull a wall hanger out with his Zebco 33. I says to him, "throw dat fish der on a pan with a little bacon grease, no better way to cook a carp!". He says to me "This one ain't going in the fry pan, she's going on the wall next to the playboy calendar". I chuckled and proceeded to shotgun 3 consecutive Busch heavies as a solute to him. God Bless da trout pond ehh der

Smelt are starting to run. Go get em boyz!

Camping in my rv right next to the pond going to be here all week. I heard the coho are running. 

Waded out near the dam this morning, had a nice one hooked but broke off in the rocks. Seen the warden working the banks checking license. Wear your fast tennis shoes.

Any opening day limits yet? The big ones around? My best bait in the past has been pieces of pork with a little bit of wax worm rubbed on it from the ole pocket. Any particular bait doing well for anyone today? How's water clarity? This front moving in should have them chomping.
