Fished from noon until 4:30. Steady slow bite all afternoon. Kept a limit of nice gills and crappies. Alot of little ones biting too. No perch this trip. 7 1/2' of water.
Tomah Lake, Monroe County
36° - 40° F
Went out from about 10 am to 2 pm with two other people. Got some bluegills all nice size and a few small Yellow Perch. One of my fishing buddies hooked into a pike on a small panfish jig. The pike broke the line. The best fishing spot this year so far seems to be about middle of the lake but more to the east and a bit south from center. Afternoons also seem to be producing best.

Fished this lake for the first time. Stopped at Roscoe's bait shop in Tomah for some info and bait. Hell of a nice guy running this shop. Full of useful information from him!! Ended up catching quality fish this afternoon. Kept 22 panfish. A lot of throw backs. Gills 8 - 9".... 12" crappies and perch. Really nice day to be out.
