Anybody been down there lately? A couple winters ago I drove down and we shot/speared a truck load of carp..wondering if any are grouped up there again. If so, I would like to make the trip again.

Sorry not a report but was wondering what the dept was of this river. I'm Planing on tubing down the river but the gf has fears of water and I need to know how deep it is.

Looking if someone could help me out about fishing the sugar river. Looking for browns and smallmouth, I would be willing to trade info about other trout fishing spots if someone would like. Just message me if anyone would like to thank you.

Caught a few smallies today just below the dam in Belleville. Water was still very high, and cold for this time of year, but it does look good. I waded a bit and could pretty much see my shoes where I was walking.

Hopefully things pick up here in a couple of weeks...

Fished the Sugar River between Verona and Belleville for smallies yesterday. Found some great looking areas but no luck tossing spinners or small plastics into wood - are there smallies in these reaches of the River? Or are they all below Belleview? I'm fairly new to the area and would like to find a stream or two near Madison where i might catch some smallies - am i on the right track here? I don't expect anyone to give up their secrets on these little smallmouth streams, but any help or hints are much appreciated. p.s. strictly ckr - catch, kiss, and release.
