Fished Friday morning June 16 from 9am - noon. Seven boats out, mostly casting for bass. Saw some bass boated.
I fished for pan fish. Best in 6' - 8' depth outside of weed beds. Gulp and a bit of worm. plenty of small bluegills biting. Caught some up to 6.5 inches.
People on dock catching the same. Good destination for those looking for action on smaller fish.

Arrived at 515pm. Put out a couple suckers and nightcrawlers. Cated spoons into the pads. One 22 inch pike right away on sucker then nothing till 730. Hit three bass the larges being 16inches-that one on a sucker but the others on crawlers. nothing touched my artificials. couple panfish but small. Had 4 strikes on my suckers-handed the pole to the wife for 2 but she lost them. One cut my leader off and one spit the hook-looked to be a small pike. Fun day at storrs.

Was out on Friday. Ice was from 5 to 7 inches thick but please check it out your self be for going out. Caught a lot of small gills. Had a friend with a camera and could see a lot of perch stacked up out in about 15 to 20 foot of water. They were right at the bottom. All in all it was nice to be out for the first time this year.
