Fished here the other day and caught 20 some perch in about 2 hrs of fishing only kept 3 that were between 10-11 inches. Lots of smaller panfish in here but there are a few good ones if your willing to take the time to weed through them. Good luck

The panfish run small here. Not sure why so many are fishing it.

I do have to agree. I've fished here on and off my whole 27 years. Trout and panfish are great out of here

fish are fine in there. Mcdill has some heavy metals in the sediment. Not an issue here. And pan fish are generally safe regardless.

Yea like I said that is just what I heard from somebody who lives on the pond. He just said from all of the people living on the lake there is a lot of fertilizer and other trash dumped into the pond. Not saying I'm right though I have only bass fished it a couple times so I really don't know!!

Contaminated with what? I checked some Internet articles and didn't find anything about bad water or contaminants. I did find out that there are trout in Springville and it is spring fed. Last I heard, trout need clean water to survive. If it is in fact spring fed, clean water is provided.

Drove past the pond today and saw a ton of people fishing out there. Maybe I'm wrong but I've been told that water is really contaminated and that its not even safe to swim in. I sure hope people aren't eating anything out of there!
